The Wedding Party

Regan and Nadine have been best friends for over two decades. Over that time, they have really become more like sisters: surviving everything from their Belieber phase to Omegle (yikes). When Regan is not home with Ty or their pets (Juno, Jack & Millie), she's either busting a move or busting a third grader drawing on their desk.

Sisters by luck and friends by choice - this choice was as obvious as a napkin for dinner. Despite a gap of eleven years in age, Nadine & Juliette always know who to call for a Facetime vent sesh; we've come a long way from her tattle-tale phase. Nadine's glad to watch her sister entering her own party era, just in time to enjoy the full scope of her bridesmaid duties!​​​​

Nadine is so happy to not only be gaining a husband, but also a sister. Cheeky and funny, she is always down for board games or a vodka soda. Thankfully she is also often down to hang with her older brother, sister-in-law and their goofy friends. Emma is a nurse by day and party animal by night, so you'll catch this social butterfly bringing the energy on the dance floor!

As Nadine's first 'big girl friend' in her new city, Allison has been the friend to witness the majority of the highs (and rare lows) of Nadine and Chris as a couple. She's the where do we hide the body friend, although our horror escapades stop at Cineplex. We may cover our eyes, but we know we'd survive any villains... now just to survive the festivities (and next morning)!

Nadine & Maria have been best friends since grade two, and have been side by side in good times and bad - most excitingly was Maria's own wedding in 2024. This bridesmaid is always down for a good time and an adventure... at least until 9PM (maybe later for a good party or a Caesar). She loves to travel... next stop? Croatia!

Haley has gotten Nadine through some silly goofy times: hopefully this continues into wedding day! Otherwise known as 'Momma Hale', she is likely the only reason the bridal party is making it to the end of the night. She loves travelling the world with her husband Adam, but when home is either curled up with a book or exploring the great outdoors!

Austin and Chris have been friends since the Lawlors first moved to Waterside, way back in 2004. Two decades later, their friendship has stood the test of time (and of being roommates during Covid-19). Now all they have to survive is the wedding day. Austin is the keeper of countless stories featuring Chris, but he's saving the best for the Best Man speech!​​​​​

A childhood friend of Chris, Grayson is a big lad with a big heart. While he shares Chris's loves of gaming, golf and Formula 1, we wish he also shared the same postal code. A student in accounting at UBC, he wins the unfortunate title of party guest to travel the furthest for the party. In an effort to offset those costs, we encourage all to buy the fella a drink!​​​

Few are lucky to find amazing friendship in family, but Chris struck gold with Brandon. Chris knows Brandon as his first cousin; Nadine knows Brandon as the guy living a street over that steals Chris to go golfing, play hockey, etc. At only 22, he's both the youngest of the groomsmen and sadly the most mature. It's far from his first Croatia trip, but it's sure to be a good one!

If you're wondering 'who's that guy lighting up the room?', it's probably Chris's cousin, Matt. Never a bad time and a born salesman, he could make friends with a brick wall. Despite his busy life, he always shows up with the perfect playlist and a beer in hand - no aux cord is safe! When you see him at the bar, ask him about his thigh tattoo, or how he likes his poutine.

Dan has been tormenting Chris for many years as a staple member of the Waterside crew, although they go back as far as 2 years old. Frequently described as 'precious', he amazes all with his ability to code-switch from Lawyer Dan to ''Big Mode'' in the blink
of an eye. They were born only three days apart, making Chris's birthday the 2nd best day in Oct. '95.​​​​

Chris and Matt's friendship of twenty years has blossomed over shared interests and shared experiences: from schoolyards to city streets to COD lobbies, these guys have seen and done it all! An easy-going Red Seal candidate in masonry, Matt can also be found enjoying nature, the gym, or a local bar. You're a long way from Kai Brady's now, Matt!
